The Covenant Creek Kids: Memorial Day with Granddaddy Meek
The Covenant Creek Kids Series, Book 2
By Whitney White
Illustrated by Kimberly Merritt
Something was different about that Monday . . . very different: a half-raised flag, an unfamiliar photograph, fresh pies, unusual flowers, a brewing storm and a very frustrated veteran great-grandfather.
Irritated that his great-grandchildren are unaware of such an important American holiday, Granddaddy Meek takes Brennan and Addison to visit a mysterious place they've never been before. Despite their fears, he brings history to life and teaches them a lesson they will never forget.
