Why Israel? DVD set
The Why Israel? Series examines Old Testament prophecies in the light of New Testament teaching, particularly Jesus’ words about the end of the age and the signs in the world which would signal His return. One of the clearest signs is the re-establishment of Israel as a fulfillment of biblical prophecy. That Jews are back in the Promised Land following nearly 2000 years in exile among the Gentile nations, declares that God has not finished with Israel, that He has promises to keep where the Jewish people today are concerned. If the Church is to embrace the ‘whole counsel of God’ then surely the Church must also recognize God’s love for, and faithfulness to, the Jewish people. The message of Christians for Israel to the Church is to prepare for the coming of the Lord by standing in solidarity with Israel and the Jewish people.
Why Israel? is an 8 segment (each approximately 35 minutes in length) teaching series. Through inspiring teaching by Rev. Dr. John Tweedie (Chairman of Christians For Israel, Canada) and intimate small group discussions we will explore these and many other vital questions regarding Israel and the Church from a biblical perspective.
Available in DVD format, and suitable for individual study, the series was produced in professional T.V. studios in Canada and on location in Israel. The teaching units include first person interviews, images of life in Israel past and present, and cover important topics such as:
